Who I AM
I am a self-taught artist from Greensboro, North Carolina, and the mind behind Tactile Canvas. My journey with art began as a little girl, watching my mother and three other family members bring life to paper and canvas. Creativity is in my blood.
Though my career path took me in different directions for a time, I have returned to what I truly love. The name "Tactile" reflects my obsession with texture—I believe art should be felt as much as it is seen, and I find joy in transforming everyday items into something beautiful.
My path hasn’t always been easy, but every obstacle has shaped the artist I am today. I dedicate this journey to my parents, who were my greatest believers. Though they have passed, I honor their memory by finally following the dream they always encouraged. After showcasing my work in Atlanta and Chicago in 2025, Brooklyn in 2026,I am now preparing for the Black Girl Art Show in Dallas in May 2026. Welcome to my journey.
