Title: Mother Nature
She a 24X 37 inch 3D acrylic painting. Mother Nature is a mixed-media piece dedicated to my parents, who have both passed. Growing up, my sister and I spent many spring and summer days pulling weeds from flower beds and our driveway—surrounded by lights, soil, and blooming flowers. My parents had a true green thumb and found joy in planting, nurturing, and watching life grow.
This piece is a reflection of those memories and a way of reminiscing on the love, care, and patience they poured into both nature and family. I use artificial moss, grass, modeling paste, flowers, and butterflies to create a textured, organic surface that represents growth and renewal. The flowers symbolize my father, who loved flowers deeply, while the butterflies and birds represent my mother, who had a love for butterflies and birds.
Through texture and natural symbolism, Mother Nature embodies remembrance, nurturing, and the enduring connection between love, life, and the earth.
